Who are ETS?

Owner, Glenn Harris has been designing and delivering training courses for over 17 years.

Glenn has delivered training in many household name businesses, on a variety of subjects, from introduction to Windows through to Access Database Development and from Induction training through to Project Management.

Having worked in both training companies and as a corporate trainer.  Glenn is ideally placed to understand many of your business needs.

Efficient: From our pricing structure, how we deliver the training and how you and your staff will be after the training.  Everything we do is being run with efficiency in mind.

Training is not just about putting people on a course to complete some tick box exercise that helps to sign off their performance management review!

There has to be a problem/issue for there to be an identified training requirement and this should be tied into your business objectives.  If not, then how can you measure the impact of the training?

Training: This is what we do, we can provide open courses which tend to be generic training materials.  However we would not recommend that for your IT training needs, as these will vary.

We can tailor courses to your specific business needs (closed course) and provide training to your trainers where required.  Just because you have us write the courses for you does not tie you into using us to deliver the course.  We can tailor the offer so that we train some of your staff, to become trainers or super users.

Using us to deliver your training, you are gaining the knowledge and experience of a trainer with over 17 years in the business.  All of the trainers we use will be qualified trainers and will have various specialities that are relevant to the training you require.

Solutions: Some courses can be generic for most learning to happen, for example; communication skills is pretty generic unless you want a more advanced version for staff delivering press communications etc…  Other courses like IT courses we would never recommend generic courses, there are so many different uses for Excel that people may have to attend 2 or 3 courses before they learn what they need to learn for their job.

Working closely with you we will look at your business need, then at what you/your staff already know and finally develop and deliver the course based on those needs.

Just having the training is not learning!  Training only makes up 10% of how we learn.  20% would be through coaching (i.e. use super users in your business to assist them) and 70% is experiential (doing).  The 70% is where a lot of companies fail.  We will work with you to put in place the full learning package and highlight areas you can help your staff retain the most from their training.
